Sanwest’s Rohan Hollick has completed a gruelling triple crossing to Rottnest. Along with his swimming partner Ceinwen Roberts, Rohan left Rottnest at midnight Saturday night, swimming for more than 19 hours, crossing in difficult conditions to Cottesloe, back to Rottnest and finishing back at Cottesloe at around 7.00pm Sunday evening. The distance covered was over 60km and they are the first people to achieve a triple crossing. The swim was dedicated to “Walk Free” a Perth based organisation founded by mining magnate Andrew Forrest determined to end modern slavery.

Rohan stated that as difficult and painful as the feat was, it is nothing compared to what millions of ordinary people including women and children have to face every day being victims of slavery.

Congratulations to Rohan and Ceinwen on a super human effort.
